Enterprise Bank Limited (EBL) received a license to operate as a commercial bank from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on August 5, 2011. The bank has a capital base of N29.8 billion and an asset base of about N280billion. This immediately gives the new bank a strong competitive edge among the comity of strong banks in the country.
